R&D Technician:

Responsibilities:
1. Supports production and formulation development as directed by VP R&D.
2. Accountable for multiple concurrent projects while delivering accurate and appropriate findings.
3. Plans and organizes well, sets a clear and simple course of action, stays focused on the most important priorities.
4. Help develop new and improved methods and systems for dietary supplements formulation and production under the supervision of VP R&D.
5. Records and analyzes test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data.
6. Responsible for sampling all the incoming and stored raw materials and submitting them to the Quality Unit Supervisor with all the appropriate paperwork including the Certificate of Analysis.
7. When assigned performs inspection and checking accuracy of list of ingredients and their weights before raw materials are staged for production and reporting the findings to the Quality Unit Supervisor.

Keeps the work area clean and provides a safe environment for working.
9.
Safety Awareness -Identifying and correcting conditions that affect employee safety; upholding safety standards.

Requirements:
1. Diploma in chemistry or equivalent with 3 years relevant experience.
2.
Must be able to follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
3.
Strong relationship/interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
4.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds multiple times per day.
5.
Must have knowledge of cGMP and be able to apply GMP principles.
6.
Some exposure to handling chemicals in a laboratory environment.
7.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
8.
Excellent interpersonal, creative and analytical skills.
9.
Computer literate.


Quality Control Chemist:

Responsibilities:
1. The Chemist will be responsible for daily laboratory testing of in process materials, environmental testing, method validation, method transfer support and other various laboratory support.
2. The Chemist will perform chemical testing using analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, FTNIR, FTIR,UV-VIS, AA etc.
3. Experience troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation and making simple repairs as needed.
4. Will perform environmental testing in compliance with State guidelines in order to maintain certification in environmental laboratory and should be familiar with the workings of a regulated environment: FDA, cGMP, GLP, HACCP etc

Requirements:
1. BS degree in Chemistry.
2. Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a cGMP environment. Preferably out of pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals or dietary supplements.
3. Experience operating and maintaining a variety of analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, FT-NIR, etc
4. Advanced knowledge of computers, including, but not limited to Microsoft Suite.
